Outside of work, I love training dogs in agility and herding, as well as camping and going off-roading here in Gig Harbor, WA. At home I share my life with Ripley, a six-year-old Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix who is trained in agility and loves to swim and play ball, Jax, a one-year-old German Shepherd who loves collecting sticks in the woods, and Toe-b, a ten-year-old cat who was formerly Brookside Veterinary Hospital's very own clinic cat.
My favourite part of this job is the client interaction. I love getting to know the people who come through our doors and building relationships with them and their pets. I also enjoy the variety — seeing a wide range of animals and breeds that you wouldn't typically encounter every day.
I studied Electrical Theory at Olympic Community College, where I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree.
Before joining Brookside Veterinary Hospital, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Wheaton Way Veterinary Hospital from March 2010 to September 2015.
