Hi, my name is Sarah Wood, and I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Brookside Veterinary Hospital. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and multimedia arts including painting and photography. At home I share my life with two mixed-breed rescue dogs and two cats — all very loved.

Favorite Part of My Job

I love talking with clients and their pets and watching those relationships grow over time. Sharing knowledge and being a trusted resource for families throughout their pet's life is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Why I Chose This Profession

I am a born and raised animal lover with a lifelong drive to heal and help. Animals have always been central to my life, and pursuing a career in veterinary medicine was a natural extension of who I am.

Work History

I began working in veterinary hospitals at the age of 14 and have built a broad and varied career since then. I have worked in single-doctor country practices, large referral centres, and even volunteered at clinics in Jamaica. I became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2010 and have been with Brookside Veterinary Hospital since 2001.
